    Hey guys. My adsense revenue has steadily been going down recently and I don't know why =(

    Are my ad placements and color choices good?

    Here is a look at what the ads look like on a post - http://homesoftherich.net/2011/10/14000-square-foot-mediterranean-mansion-in-irvine-ca.html

    There's a 728x90 at the top, a 468x60 ad above the post content, a 468x15 ad below the post content and a 336x280 ad below the post content.

    Any advice would be great! Thanks!

    well, I will suggest you to remove 728 adsense, because that position just work for homepages, when visitor open full page then scroll down to see real content.

    also you should trying by removing adlinks from post footer and use two 336 ads (left text + right images), it always worked for me. why left to right, because visitor read content from left to right, they start looking text ads ad content links and them the right image ad attract them. so there would be double chances to get clicks,

    What adlinks in the post footer are you talking about? Also, how do I make one ad go left and the other go right? can you show me an example? thanks.

    I would remove blue color from the ads text, and also green.

    Clickable links i would do only black or orange (like the color you have on site and on some ads text too) to match your theme

    either you can use table or use horizontal inline unordered list with css. I use the 2nd method. you dont have space for two 336 ads, so you can use two 300x250.

    also you can pace your tags and entry information under the adsense. closure the adsense to content better the chances.

    css for you horizontal adsense

    #adsense li {display: inline;list-style-type: none;}

    tags for single post template
    <ul id='adsense'>
    <li>
    Text Adsense
    </li>
    <li>
    Rich Media Adsense
    </li>
    </ul>

    Its up to your choice, use rich media ads of text ads.

    using adsense under the post is always effective because that is the location where people look for related content and links. also keep on eye on your 468 ad, if you get nothing from it then try placing it in side above or below the fan page. why? because usually fanpage profile image attract people and there people click on profiles of people :D there they can easily see the ads too :D
