What do you guys think about it? I'm having second thoughts about the blue buttony looking things on the left side of the site. But what about the rest?

    Thanks,
    Phil

Phil, it's nice enough, I don't see any problems. Nice work. ;)

I find it hard to read the orange writing (which is the most important text). It seems to blend in with the rest of the orange on the page a bit instead of being the focus. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

I thought it was very good. The colors could use a little work, but I liked the usefulness so much, I added it my bookmarks. :)

I agree with rhinoplayer, the orange text isn't quite as sharp as the black-on-whatever text. Would it help if the orange links weren't bold?

Nice looking site, though. Blue, orange, white, black is a good combo :)

Thanks guys. The orange text is a little hard to read but most people find it ok, just people with bigger monitors. So I don't know what I'm going to do.

Thanks Lever, I think I was the first person to start using that color scheme :)

Everyone really likes the colors. Maybe your monitor settings are different?

Hmm I think the combo Orange/blue can work, but I would spend some more time perfecting the tones. As far as the content, I would focus on freeware and keep reviewing more and more, there are a lot of people who search for freeware :)

Well I try to even it out. I get a lot of people searching for free (I guess illegal) downloads of software, my software section is viewed about 30% more then my freeware section, so we'll see.

I didn't mean pirated software, I meant freeware. If your regular software section gets more views- great :)

Its good, but CHANGE THE COLOURS. On every forum I see you ask for a review on, I always see colours too garish and bright etc. You always diminish that with everybody else likes the colours, but at least 25% of the reviews I've seen of this site, have said that.

It would be so much better if the colours worked nicely together.

I have lots of freeware developed by me. Can I send it for review?

    Thanks :)

Yes you can, but immediate inclusion has a $25 fee per title.

Ed: Only about 1 peson out of about 15 from each forum says that, it's not enough for me to change it. What colors should I use?

Some colours that aren't opposites on the colour wheel. Notice on the following link

    http://webdesign.about.com/library/graphics/aacolorharmony1.gif

Blue and orange are total opposites.

And out of reviews here 5 have said that colours need work (inc me) and 4 haven't said it (including exam). That is quite different from your ratio.

Most places people like the color. My ratio is just about correct. I guess this forum just has all the odd balls :p

I don't know what to do. I might tweak the colors and change the brightness but I'm not gonna change them completely. I wanna finish Twisted Mango first then I'll start working on MHS again.

Yeah, it might be best just to tone them down so they aren't as bright as they are atm.
