It is very important for me to make sure that prospective members of my website get a good first impression. "Money Making" websites can turn people off really quickly. I think as soon as some people see "make money" or something similar -- they are immediately not interested, because it sounds like a scam. So, I have done my very best to make sure that my website appears as professional (and less scammy) as possible. Of course, it is not a scam -- it is a solid and totally legitimate 1 tier referral membership system that offers a free 30 day trial, and I just want to make sure visitors understand what they are looking at (and hopefully come to the conclusion that it's a great site for them to join) before they have the chance to reach the conclusion that it looks like some kind of scam. So what I am asking here is that you pretend you are a visitor for the first time (which wont be hard because this IS your first time lol)... and tell me if there's anything dramatic that turns you off. I really want to to what I can to make this website does not look like a scam! ..because it's NOT!
Hi MrLeN, if a was a first time visitor for a "make money" site, I'm NOT expecting a single column site, that talk, talk and talk about how easy is make money... make money ISN'T EASY. I'll appreciate a blog organization with categories, article, testimonials and well documented showcase. I don't wanna see ads if it's possilble or HUGE call to action made only to sell ebook. So also a simply friendly look can help visitors to stay in track: a weel-finished "Who am I" page, can reassure who's reading, about the worry of a scam. I suggest also to add in your everyday life photo. Take a look on this site: http://www.dariovignali.net/ and then go on "About Dario" page. Simple and friendly and people will love you. Hope my 2cents can help you. Good luck...
Thanks carlo75. While I sincerely appreciate the time that you took to write a review for my website.. - It doesn't say anything about how to make money in the copy, let alone any "talk, talk, talk". - It doesn't say anything at all in the copy about how "EASY" it is to me money (nor do I think it is easy to make money). - While I understand that you appreciate blog organizations, my website isn't a blog (and I'm not going to turn it into one); but it does have a discussion forum inside. - The website doesn't have 1 ad on it, so you can relax about that. - It doesn't have any calls to action to sell an ebook (nor does it have an ebook). - I don't speak Italian, so I could not understand the site you sent me to. Mate, forgive me if I am wrong (or am missing something) -- but I think you misunderstand what this section is for and what a review is. A review is when you look at someone's website and give them input on that website; ie: preferably regarding that website (as opposed to your thoughts on a foreign website in a different language). For all I know you could have written all that stuff above without even glancing at my site. None of the above information has anything to do with my website whatever. None of my questions were even brushed upon, let alone even remotely responded to. Again mate, I appreciate your time, but you seem to be confused about what a review entails. I hope I have helped you here.
Hi MrLeN no problem maybe I may have misunderstood, but I haven't seen your site because you have not post the link. You have said and then I've responded So I don't have reviewed your site, because I don't know the link... thus I simple suggest you, what I want to see on an ipotetic "make money" site. Sorry if I made a mistake... take my non-reviews as simple suggestion
The link is in my signature mate. I did take your suggestions into account though -- honestly. Thank you.
I am not a big fan of black color, especially when a black page has to contrast with a black/dark background. It just doesn't work well. For instance, take a look at http://www.marketsamurai.com/ . To me that's how a good squeeze page should look like. Clean and easy on the eye. Another thing that caught my eye and made me chuckle was the 20 year cookies. I flush cookies daily from my browsers. In 20 years I may go through 5-7 computers, so the 20 year cookies offer sounds like a weak selling point rather than a strong selling point. Put something like 6 months or a year instead and that will suffice.
