    Please review: http://www.HelpingWebmasters.com

It’s a webmaster forum that was originally the T35 Hosting Support & Development forum. It used to be very active a few years ago, but has died off recently. So it's been spun off into its own site and made it open to the public. Not too many of the moderators are posting on there yet but that’s mostly because we haven’t had too many users post. We need some feedback in terms of design, usability, what functions/features to add, and more importantly how to jump start the forum again.

One idea that we have tried recently is a contest where members win hosting, etc.. by posting. It's linked at the top of the forum if you want to check it out.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!!

P.S. This is not my site, i'm posting this for my brother.

    Thanks!

The header area could use work, maybe add in a customized logo?

For your forum sections, is there any way to combine some sections together? I think there's a bit too many.

Thank you for the feedback! You're right.. working on a custom logo and fav icon as we speak :) I'll look into combining some of the boards as well. Thanks! Any ideas on how to promote it?

I agree with 8everything, I suggest you also start using Vbulletin smf will never handle a huge huge forum like I am sure you want! VB will!

Ehh.. I've had some good experiences with SMF and have done a good amount of stress testing on it. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Well I own a rather large web forum and SMF couldnt do it but vbulletin could :) Just a suggestion, it is your site but I find it better to make the step to vbulletin before your members count grows. Look at any big webmaster forum, they all use VB :) There is a reason ;)

Generally a clean looking forum, so that's good. One comment about the header area, there's a ton of open space below the date. I don't know if that's where the logo is going to go, but it's really valuable real estate (for something even if not an ad), so I just wouldn't have it be blank.

Thanks gotlinks! I'll look into upgrading to vbulletin!

enderp ... Below the date? Hmm.. I was going to put the logo where the logo is right now. What should I put under the date?
