    First of all you need a professional logo. You have got interesting and attractive content. You should add meta description and keywords between your <head> tags for search engine optimization. Maybe try a different background color, white is way too bright for LCD screens. Good luck :)

    Not pure white, maybe light-gray or silver. Background color of your search box looks suitable to me.

    You can add background color...very light parrot green..and should add a professional name n logo...
