Gazotto is a gadget blog and since I'm redesigning I'd like to know if the current is great, good, or it sucks. Of course if you wanna review the contents of the site you can do that as well. Skinny
the blue one? I don't like it too much. It should be a little more techy somehow. like gazotto written on a circuit board or something? If that's what you are going for. If you are going for simplicity, I'd do something like cnet.
Okay, so that's one for change the damn thing already. Any one else's opinion. Personally I get bored with logos and love to change them often. Don't know if that' a good idea. Skinny
I'd try to keep some consistency. I do holiday logos, but I always keep the character the same, so people know its the same site. If you do a simple logo, I'd make it something you want to keep for a long time. Stability is important, especially if you are wanting to brand the name a little.
Great keep the suggestions coming. I guess I'm gonna build a logo and then display it here and get some opinions. Skinny
I think the logo is too reflective, as in the bottom 'mirrored' part stands out too much, making it look almost too artistic. You think it's someone's personal blog rather than a gadget blog at first. Just my opinion. I would agree that something more techy, but something that could still stand out, would be great.
First, your site is nice and sharp looking. I like it. Second, the Logo can be improved, but I will let others comment on that. Third, I did notice that you have a â„¢ next to your logo. That is good, but I don't see you putting on next the every occurance of the word Gazottoâ„¢. You should, as I assume you are trying to protect the word more than the illustrated logo. You can protect both, but with your unique name, I would add the text TM after every occurance of the word. I think it is maybe 5 times on the page. Nobody will notice the difference, but it can help establish your legal rights to the name.
Yeah, I think it's a little drab for my liking. Doesn't speak of gadgets to me. Maybe some gears and cogs, levers, buttons, etc Good Luck!
