I know I still have a few validation issues. :) Sigh!

Other than that, what do you think? Any suggestions?

    Here are my review :
Your header text Gardenmaid.com is obsolete looking and very common, try to change it as the web 2.0 design.
Use different typeface for the header and the slogan, visit web2logo.com for sample text as logo

    Some quick observations:

Lose the big empty column on the left - unless it's reserved for ads, otherwise make the content area wider and possibly move the nav to the left side.

Either change the colour or underline/bold the nav links. At a glance they just look like plain text.

Thanks to all who have replied.

The big empty column is for adsense. Just haven't placed the ads yet.

I may change the color of the nav links. Bold will create space issues on some of the inside pages. I really don't want to underline them.

    Thanks for the comments.

I would suggest putting your AdSense in the middle of the page and not to the left. That area is usually for navigation, you can put some there, but not a big tower ad.

Although others have said that the colors are no good, I love gardening and for a gardening site, the colors work.

A larger portion of your traffic may actually come from an older crowd so navigation is a must, some more pics, but not too many and not to large neither.

    Great Site,

    Nick
