Love the design! Suits your topic very well. For your site name, it's kind of hard to see behindn the dark background, I would change it.. to either a bright blue or even green (like the dots you have above)
yea the logo, it was made for an earlier version of the forum, it was a bluish color, and it was a yabb forum, it was good for that, i never got the time to make another one, but thanks for comments, i will work on making a new one, i dont have that one's psd file anymore so i cant change the color
You can import the image file into photoshop and colorize it to green (instead of using the psd file) works just as great! Good luck.
never did that, u know any tuts that teach that? im still pretty new to PS, i had it for months but didnt get even a total of 100 hrs on it, no time really
Here, try this: 1. Import the graphic into photoshop 2. hold down: CTRL + ALT and U at the same time 3. The window will appear 4. Click colorize (on the lower right corner) 5. Move the hue around to change the color and just stop at green when you've reached it. Hope it helps!
ok thanks, done, check it now, it matches the green lights around the forum template, u can see the reflection a little better now
lol thanks for your help, i gave u postive rep for helping good thing i made that with transparent background lol
i know i changed it to that, but on some other forums people say it doesnt go or i should change back lol, but i do think that this one is better, anyone else has any tipis or comments for my site? 20k active users and only one other person responded lol
Maybe make the green lighter? Also.. the dropshadow (reflection green) it way too dark for a reflection.. tone it down by 50% and see how people respond
i cant remember lol, i said i dont have the psd file anymore, but can i do that to the overall logo? well im gonna try and get back to you
Oh right.. but I didn't remember the drop shadow when there was the blue version? what you can do is just overlay the green drop shadow with black (at a low opacity)
well didnt see much differnece since its transparent, but i'll have to put it up on my site later because i have to edit the template files and paste it on there, will take a while longer, thx
