Free Funny Jokes & Videos I'm going for something unique, but I'm admittedly not very creative. First time building the a site in php. I tried to make all the links and file names search engine friendly. Still trying to figure out a way to make dynamic meta titles, since Im using a php includes for the header. Any suggestions on how to make the site better?
add some coloring to it as its fun site too dark at the moment and u have its custom made script or what??
Not its not custom, just html in a header, footer, and content php files. The content file uses php includes to show the header and footer. That way I can change info in the header and footer (like menu's etc) and it will reflect on all the pages. Also makes adding content alot easier. When I first designed the site, its was very colorful... then it looked like all the other jokes sites. I wanted something different and I'm a fan of dark themes anyways.
When you're inside the categories try left aligning the categories, and maybe adding a bullet or other image.
Does black color stands for jokes. It is too much grave. It is too bold for a joke site. Try using brighter colors. I don't know about jokes and all the stuff but colors can really set a mood for visitors. They will not read any jokes from a black colored site. really if you don't believe me then try yourself. Imagine yourself as a visitor for jokes site and then goto some sites. in between come back to you site. At 5 sites per minute i don't think user will not be tempted to close the window of your site.
