Hey Guys, Here is my latest website http://www.polarprice.com, everything is done except for the advertisement holders on the left side. Some other pages may look a little plain on the right but that's because google and pricegrabber still have to correct that on there side. Let me know what you think....Bundle up, it can get cold Thanks! Scott
wow.. the first time i saw ur website , it really shock me.. the site really match it domain name.. good work.
Nice design. Tip: Redirect from the non-www to the www version of your site. Search Google for "301 redirect" if you have any questions about how to do it.
Thanks Merker! The 301 redirect just makes it put www in front of the domain if left out when entered in the url box right?
There has been a lot of discussion recently about sites that have been penalised for duplicate content because Google sees the www and non-www versions as two different websites. Once you fall into the dup content problem with Google it is very difficult to get out ... especially with the supplemental listing problems they've got (they seem to be unable to rid their databases of old/404/non-existent pages). The single, most important factor in the launching of any new site is, I would say, ensuring that you have a .htaccess file with a 301 redirect from one version to the other. PM me if you need any help with that but there is a lot of useful info on the web about it if you try searching in your favourite SE.
Took a little bit to load the right half, not sure if that was problem on my end or what. Other than that, looks good. I would of went with a little darker blue, but that's just me
I've made a litte revenue these past 2 days, but I'm not going to start marketing it until Monday when I'll have my web design company all set as well to go live. Thanks for the input so far guys!
I like it! Especially how you were able to blend the google ads so that it is not so obvious nor distracting - good work!
Great design, nice on the eyes. I think it is cool the way you have the site setup with the iframes and such,
