Review for my blog, please..

Too mant font colors on the front page. It disturbs the reader!

 

I think the colors help to break up the text, but yeah maybe stick to a couple of colors to help not over do it on the reader.

Until those questions are answered, then everything else is just opinion without direction.

For instance, there are plenty of high-traffic, high-earning and high-commented websites that are plain, even ugly, hosted on blogspot, typepad, wordpress, etc.

Define your target market and goals, then work backwards to do the minimum that satisfies that.

Great answer and yes there are many ugly blogs out there that do well.
But why not design a blog that is easy on the eyes even if it is not neccessary it can't hurt can it?
Yes if you have an ambition for your blog it would help us as readers to help with your optimization for whatever purpose it is.
If your just trying to get the odd add click you really need to optimize some of the articles you have written with relevant off-site seo as your sites broad and bringing visitors will be hard without a exact match url or a very specific niche.
I know from experience that custom domain= more traffic even though blogspots can be successful, custom domains demand attention eventually.

Use blogspot as the testing ground before spending money on anything.

I agree that the layout, readability and user interface are important - but how important and how implemented depends on the intended visitors.
If you already have registered users - ask them!

Identify your target first otherwise you're just shooting in the dark.

If your target is just to get people to read your blog and maybe get an ad click, then you just want your writing to be indexed and found for its originality and following. These things are made easier woth friendly design.
Not all people online are trying to convert everyone into money! Some just like to blog and others just like to write/read. If there is no 1 type of person or audience your aiming at then as long as your happy it doesn't really matter what design you have, I recommend the domain as it is a one click $10 purchase through blogger (hardly expensive) and you could write a overview of everythingunderthesun and rank it instantly for "under the sun" and "everything under the sun" and "blog about everything under the sun" and so on. Its not much but you will get some traffic and clicks, and as your PR rises you will be able to attack harder keywords in your articles that are not in your title or url. It basically is the same plan for whatever niche your in, working out where to rank first, increase PR then rank on more competitive terms. Thats how I do it for all my niches.

 

also just thought you'd like this one, I found an embedable forum you can add to blogspot blogs with ease at nabble.com I think, and it is customizable. Pretty cool huh?
I have whacked one on kennyscashblog.com and it looks cool, empty but cool lol.
In 8 weeks from birth this site has already made over 1000 dollars mostly from DP but I am starting to see google traffic already and this is the most cut throat niche out there, webmasters vs webmasters, anything can be monetized if you want, if you just want readers go and read others blogs and leave your comments. it will help. Some niches I have ranked highly with no extra seo at all just writing good content and having little competition. So i am sure you can find a hook to get your readers in!!
I think the blog you have made is okay if you like it leave it!! if you not happy tweak it. Play with the advanced setting in the template designer to get a unique nice looking blog. I think your on the right track!!

use photoshop for your banners...........................also make content more brief.............its good if you hit the posts on one topic....relevant..besides all is good.........keep it up

I've change the settings in my bidvertiser account now and change the color as well
I've removed pop-up thing and tweeted your blog too

 

I used many font color to distinguish one from another, and the color has significance
But I guess many users don't get it, so I'll reduce the use of it

Got it.. My actual audience is everyone from young to old
And that is the reason I kept the niche as general... I'll try to more and more interesting articles.

My blog is of general niche so, I doubt I can post only on one topic.
I'll create another blog soon which focus on a particular niche.

That is one of the problem I'm facing.. Adsense isn't accepting my application
And that is the reason I moved to bidvertisers
