Hello Freedom Warriors How do you do Today I will write a review about Fiverr as a traffic source well I was browsing for some graphic job and found a lot of people there are offering their services to post on their fanpage, broadcast on their twitter account, or put a banner on their blog so I choosed a specialized niche which was fitness to promote my affiliate link and made a mix of the previous methods wich were supposed to reach nearly 1,2 million users so I calculated like this , in worst cases if I got only 1% opt-in rate in a specialized nich that will be a great bless a new 12K member in my fitness mailing list which is by naturally new monthly 12K dollars so I made gigs here and there , created a tracking link and sent it to those fiverrs and the result was totally crap only 72 clicks, 1 opt-in , 0 sale here is the graph so the conclusion, save your money don't spend it on fiverr
I do understand your situation, Mohamed. Think about it this way, if their advertising service really is worth it, they wouldn't sell it for $3.90-ish a pop. They would have just advertised for themselves and earned all the money. Regarding tracking, I don't think Bitly can give you any intelligent data on your traffic at all. I recommend you get at least Prosper202 because without comprehensive data before hand, most media buy campaigns are destined to fail.
yes i love fiverr... i buy there services *Article writing *banner/logo design etc... never buy traffic from fiverr especially that cheap
Out of interest, Memoryrameka2, what are the quality of the articles you've been getting like? Are they just SEO quality, or are they genuinely good, informative articles? I'm curious. Regards Jason
If you don't mind, I can answer that as well. There are some decent writers on Fiverr, mostly they are very busy due to the large number of orders. However, if you want 5-star quality, you won't get it on Fiverr, then again, people whose talent is worth the money won't waste their time for $3.90-ish an article. Right now, my team and I pay $150 per 1,500+ word article. It is amazing. And still, it's considered cheap.
Thanks, Chad. Yeah, that's a pretty good price. The reason I asked is because a few years back I used Rentacoder to get an article written. However, when I examined the formatting of it, it was clear to see that large parts of it had been copied and pasted from other sources (probably Wikipedia), so I was curious how Fiverr compares.
Oh yeah, Jason. I have never heard of Rentacoder before and yeah, most writers do that. However, I used to find some decent writers on Fiverr as well, mostly new writers who want to get their names out there but I don't think it's worth your time to go through all that searching process to find a decent one out of 1,000+ writers on Fiverr. Don't know if you have heard of it but I used to try content writing service from Epicwrite, the content is well put together and fun to read. In my opinion, they are 5.5/10. Maybe our expectations are not the same, you can try them if you want.
No, I'd not heard of Epicwrite, but I just had a look at their site, and it looks good. I think my expectations on Rent-acoder were a bit high. The article I wanted writing was a factual, historical piece about the Spanish colonisation of South America, for a book I was writing, which obviously is a specialised subject. However, Rent-acoder worked a bit different to Fiverr in that you posted the job that you wanted doing, and then writers would quote a price to do it. You would then choose your writer from all those who bid. Therefore, I kind of (perhaps naively) assumed that people bidding knew something about the subject. To make sure, I chose a US-based writer, even though he was slightly more expensive than some of the writers from other countries, but still got something that was pretty much unusable without me rewriting it. It was a lesson learnt though.
That's right, Jason. How much did you pay for the article on Rent-acoder? For professional writers on Epicwrite is $1/100 words. Not sure about the quality as I have not tried yet.
Well, I just checked my old calcs spreadsheet, as I also sold my own writing services on there a few times. I was charging about $0.02 per word. So, $2/100 words. I was still being undercut by writers from other countries though. You also have to bear in mind that this was 2006, so prices don't seem to have inflated at all.
Oh yeah, $2/100 words is quite cheap. However, I think if you target companies, not individuals - you'll be able to charge much more. There is a team that my team have worked with for 3 years and a half now, they charge $400 - $700 per hour. But hell, is the quality great. I know there are too many writers already who target buyers from the lower end of the market, they get a lot of orders + problems. For me, companies are easy to talk to, fewer problems and absolutely more money.
