    http://www.dicereviews.com is a project I and a friend started a year ago.
We have spent a pretty large amount of $ on script and customizing.
Last PR update we went from PR3 to PR5, we have lot's of pages indexed in google, yahoo and msn but we barely receive any traffic.
We started a blog on dicereviews a couple of months ago, and the blog actually get more traffic than the 100's of products and reviews on dicereviews.

We have spent so much time and resources on this project, and now it feels like we are banging our heads against the wall - We just can't figure out why we get so few visitors from google.

Please take a few minutes checking out http://www.dicereviews.com - I would love the hear your input.

    Thanks

    Hiya!

I'm the co-founder of this project. Been hoping that someone would spot something that was "off" on the site that Google would punish us for. In theory, I think we've done most things right in regards to Google, but we still have hardly any traffic from them. Thoughts, suggestions?

The site looks amazing! I can't catch anything either.. the url's are all search engine friendly.

Maybe trying to get traffic from search engines is not the best way to get traffic to the kind of site that you're running. I doubt people would search for those specific reviews.
You could try ads to promote it and maybe even a competition for people that add products. That way you'll automatically get more content and visitors. :)

Maybe I'm missing something, but if you're just doing reviews on a bunch of "entertainment" stuff like movies, games, etc, you're way outclassed (unless you have a full-time staff and millions to drop on advertising). There are thousands of sites that do it better, so why should anyone come to you?

Am I missing the point of the site? It seems this should have been obvious from the beginning.

The point is SE traffic, with such a keyword/content rich site, it should bring in some decent traffic. We are not trying to compete with IMDB and the likes.
