The blog is well designed it looks nice and clean and easy to navigate but I think it would look better if you add some images to it.
The overall impression is good. But yu need to insert some pictures. Keep filling the site with the content. The light blue colour is a bit pale. I would change it as it doesm't match with the "paper" colour. The site promises to be good in the end.
