I've been playing around with Adsense for a while, but daang, I get very low CTR. Out of like 30k impressions I got only $5

Remove this skyscraper from the lef side and place 336x288 above title in the center side. You should get about 10% CTR

 

Hhmmm, you really think so? I just hate the idea of having to scroll down that much to get to the actual article...hhhmmmm

 

Looks pretty good to me. How many impressions do you get a month?

 

Pretty decent site ya got there. Design is sharp, content looks good.

About the ads - I see why you're not getting any clicks I'd recommend searching DP for other game sites and see how they implement their ads. The best thing to do is test, test, test. After you've established some solid numbers, go with whatever produces the best

where do you get 30k impression from? the site is just about 10 days old. even if you start getting traffic from the second you registered your domain, that would still be 3k impression per day. how are you marketing?

 

If you can put the adsense code below or up of social bookmarking links then that would better.

 

You can always try, my way works fine for me. Of course it's not good for readers but effective

 

The site design is a little blah for me, and making money shouldn't be everything. It can become especially hard with blogs.

 

The first place my eyes focused when I visited your site was to the text in the white background of your page. I didn't even notice the Google ads until I looked for them. I'd suggest getting your ads into the white area since most people will initially focus on that area.
