Hello I would like to get a few opinions on this artists web site from a customer perspective. Would you be able to find what you were looking for if you wanted to hire this person to draw you a portrait or some type of commissioned art? http://robinedmunds.ca/ Any help, critiques would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows of some type of audit or review type service for sites that is not geared toward SEO but actual web site experience I would be interested in that. Dont mind paying.
cool site, I like it.. Maybe a minor change by put the content on a white background will make it better.. Not sure about your second request, but you can post it here.. good luck..
I have had a few people tell the artist that the site is confusing. My main concern is being able to find what you are looking for. Are there ways I could make the purpose of the site more obvious to the visitor? Thanks for your tips. I will consider especially putting the content on a white background.
The site is very vague on what to expect on it. I would suggest to bring elements from the pricing page to the front page at it describes what the artist does. Consider having a introduction by the artist on video, explaining the product and showing examples.
Thanks for those great suggestions. I really appreciate the honest feedback you gave. This is more what I was hoping for, thanks. I definitely need to think about how I can bring the info about what she does to the front page while still having her latest work displayed and also including most of the things she does.
I really like your site. It's really pretty and the content on the first page is great to make me click thru. The only thing I would suggest, is the slider at the top... the first image has a description of what the site is about. I missed the first slide at first, and did not know what the site was about upon first arriving. I think the first image says a lot about the site, and I would suggest leaving that image in place instead of sliding other ones into view. or maybe you could put the images in windows and have the image menues pop up all on the same "page"...... I like this text. custom portraits from photographs. Aslo, your social bar is hiding the little menu popups on the slider window. I like the site overall. It's really nice and will work without doing any rearranging... I guess most visitors will already know what the site is about befor they get there.
I have already slowed down the slider animation so there is time to read it. I'll consider stopping the sliding animation fully in a future version of the site after I gather more and more feedback. Thanks so much for your review, its given me a lot of insight and ideas.
