Review ALL Aspects of Anime Forum

Hi there,

we started an anime forum in September and we need to see if there are any other things we should be doing to improve the forum overall.

So could I get a few people to check/review/comment on every aspect of the forum for me i.e. how it looks, how it functions in in different browsers, how good its SEO is (this one in particular).

I assume you don't want the script of my chatbox, you want your own? Just go to chatango.com if you want a chatbox and follow the instructions.

Is ur site only for Naruto or would u like someother anime?
I am an uploader.. would u like an uploader for ur site?

If yes.. just dont give me any rules to put passes and file names with site name

Encourage users to credit sites that they got their copy pasta from. I noticed some were missing such.

Worry more about content and community.

Get a custom favicon.

Also try to support the buying of anime goods (not saying you should remove the episodes).

 

There's nothing wrong with criticism

I must say the banner at the top is extremely appealing and well done!
There's alot of subforums which can be a good/bad thing, but in your case a good thing because of the different variety of content and shear amount of it.

Also I know this is irrelevant, but want to point our forum activity
30k+ posts between 900 members is awesome! means most of the members are either active or its a one man show with admin running around with the bulk of the posts ;P

Just a note, not sure if its just my computer but the chat box at the bottom never loaded for me?

You mean users posting news? I think you're picking out the smallest things here as most of them have links to the source - but fair enough.
Favicon is good enough I think, if its good enough for the largest Naruto Forum, its good enough for us. Your last point - how are we supposed to promote this apart from the relevant ads that just happen to show up? I think it would be pointless in going out of our way for this.

Thanks for that, yeah the chatbox is flash and pretty crappy so sometimes doesn't load, its popular but I might get rid of it. About the sub-forums, we only have three lol - thanks again

Quite good, i guess stretched version of theme might be better.

 

The banner looks great, I think the colors used are a bit dull. Otherwise I can't find anything wrong with it .
