    Hello proxywhereabouts.
First of all the site looks like it is using the x10 mp3 script and these sites are pretty common, so what you need to make it better is making it different from the others.
Try adding some more stuff to it, here are some ideas:
    1. Grab the MTV top 10 or Other Top for some categories and list it on the frontpage in columns, and link the songs to their match in ur site.
    2. You can also make the same for artists, for instance make 3-4 columns with rap, rock, pop and house for instance and put 5 artists in each column(pictures). Put a link on the picture to the artist page on ur site, for instance: Artist: Eminem Link: index.php?search=eminem
I also have an mp3 site and from experience I say people click more on homepage songs/artists rather that going deep into the site.

Good luck with ur site ;)

Thank you for your kind words Adrian, a rep has been awarded.

I will try to implement all those thing sometime later.
My server is now temporarily down due to the upgrade of system hardware.
Once it back online, I will sure to start working on some customization.

Got a reply from Google today.

    Hi Muhammad,

Thanks for writing in. As stated in our program policies (
    https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US ), publishers are not
permitted to place Google ads on sites involved in the distribution of
    copyrighted materials.

That said, you're welcome to place Google ads or an AdSense for search box
on any website that complies with our program policies (
    http://www.google.com/adsense/policies).

While we're happy to clarify questions about our policies, we encourage
you to review the policies and use your best judgment to determine your
site's compliance. If you suspect that an implementation may violate the
spirit of one of our policies, we'd recommend you err on the side of
    caution and modify the implementation.

Please also be aware that due to the large volume of emails we receive, we
can't accommodate individual requests to review publishers' sites.

    Thanks for your understanding.

For additional questions, I'd encourage you to visit the AdSense Help
Center ( http://www.google.com/adsense_help ) or the official AdSense blog
    ( http://adsense.blogspot.com?utm_source=txft ). Alternatively, feel free
to post your question on the AdSense Help Forum (
    http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-help?utm_source=txft ).

    Sincerely,

    (resend with publisher ID)

Hello and good evening. First of all, my apologies for sending this
twice. The first was sent without providing my publisher ID.

I have a site which is a MP3 Search Engine. The site act as a proxy
which is; crawl through the web for audio files. By using the site,
visitors can listen to their desired songs and can choose to download
the song for preview purpose since not everyone has decent internet
    speed to stream through.

I was told that if I place Adsense on the site, my account might get
banned because these type of websites are considered as a copyright
infringement and violate your terms of services.

I do have appropriate Privacy Policy, Copyright Policy & Terms of
Services stated clearly on that site explaining everything.

So, I wonder if this is considered as violating your TOS if I placed
    Adsense on the site.

Thank you for reading and hopefully I will receive the answer that I'm
    looking for.

I do aware that you have millions if not zillions of emails asking for
a similar question. I hope you will not reply the email with your
policy as I have read them through prior sending this email.

    regards,
    Muhammad Shaiful Aizal Abdullah.

So, this mean even I have everything on the site, big G said no.. :)

No adsense will ever be on this site then.

To all of you who are using adsense on your mp3 site, remove the download link if you want to use adsense or use other advertisers.

    redesign the site.

Well, I would redesign the site if there is much UV flowing in but so far the visit are adequate and not in much favor of redesign.

    Thanks for the input.

Referring to AdrianTec (which is now banned, wonder why :???) I will try to add some new features in it.

Does that mean streaming mp3s isn't against adsense tos or does download and streaming mean the same thing?

I'm not quite sure about that.
I won't be adding adsense on that site since thay clearly said its about copyright infringement.
