    Hi guys,

I bought this script on DP before and were just update it with a new version.

Original layout looks dull so I customize it a little bit so that I could put some ads in it.

Since this is the first time I play around with codes, appreciate if you could give some comment to improve the site.

I am still learning on html and css and a little bit of php online, any suggestions, reviews, comments are truly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    REVIEW THIS SITE PLEASE.

    I have a couple suggestions:

I like the header. Its simple and clean. The red color in the body I don't thinks works very well.

The "mp3Genie lets you listen to any song or band." text above the search box could be a bit smaller and use a better font. The "mp3" part of the sentence actaully gets cut off by the adsense block. I would thinks about using a horizontal ad format. This way you'll be able to center the content on the page.

    Good Luck

    I viewed in Firefox

    Lets go with looks first

I REALLY like you header. Very simple, clean, and neat! Perfect there.

Like an above poster...I am not sold on the red background color. Maybe something a little softer on the eyes? I dunno. I am no web guru.

    Function

I searched for a VERY old Temptations song and I couldn't find it...So I typed in Alter Bridge and found multiple copies of Rise Today

    Wording...

I would REALLY word it so you are saying "preview it here before you buy it"....the RIAA are REALLY NASTY (i worked in radio for 12 years) and I wouldn't wanna be on their bad side...and poking at their money is on their bad side for sure!

Overall...good job on the site...just refine it a bit

    On a personal note
This is the second one of these kinda sites like these I've seen.

    What is it?

    Are these legal?

Where are these things getting the songs from?

Well, i do have privacy policy, tos and copyright policy stated on the page. Hopefully that would be enough.

The site is using a small script develop by a fellow member of DP. I bought it back when it was on promotion and got it to work. I create the site for my wife at first but never thought there is frequent visitors from my home country and international visitors as well.

The script fetch data from esnips server thus make it theoretically legal since no files is ever hosted on my server. Plus, a clear TOS stated everything and how I'm not be held liable for any misuse. :p

The background is a bit too much, definitely go with a lighter, easier color or something like a white or light gray. Other than that, the site looks good, but it is really simple.

    thanks for explaining....

    I wasn't accusing....I was just curious...

    The site is quite neat

Temper that background color and you are set

I am not sure what you will like...but try these
    FFCCCC
    CCFFFF
    CCCCCC

Do you see where I am going? more subtle light color is what I would go for...but that is me

others would say make it pop and and go with your red or some loud orange

find a site similar that is doing well....see what colors they are using and try something like that

after all imitation is the best form of flattery :)

we aren't re-inventing the wheel...i am thinking the site gears to kids...do they dig on sites that are all bright?

    Thanks for your input.

I tried some colors on it but didn't see any to my liking.

I will experiment it with some other colors as well.

Any more reviews? Apart from color etc..

But I think I will change to adbrite instead..
Not worth to get a ban from google.

Thanks for liking my site. :)

Well, I have changed the ads on http://www.mp3genie.net with adbrite.
And also add a favicon. :)

An email was sent to Google asking for site compatibility.
