Hello all, I am trying to understand a reverse proxy and why it sometimes doesnt work. I understand what a reverse proxy is and how to install and configure one with apache, but some webservers it doesnt translate correctly, you get a page which does not look like it has the CSS rendered. Other times on complex pages certain buttons dont work either. I have ensured the the correct mod's have been enable to support reverse proxy mainly mod_proxy, mod_proxy_http. So my question is: does it simply not work on certain web applications? or can it be configured to work without altering the web application its self. I must admit that I'm no expert in this field.
