How do Reverse IP Check works? I was looking after some info on the web bout could not find any piece of code.
Most use search engines along with an IP flag to find results for any given IP. I believe MSN/Live search supports this.
Maybe you're looking for getting the Geographic location of an IP? If so check out h_ttp://www.hostip.info/ they have an API that you can use to do that.
@atlantadentalcenter: maybe not! I already mentioned what I want. @EricBruggema: I want to know if it is possible to do that only with PHP, without the use of other software.
Something like on http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/?hostname=webdomainsbroker.com for instance. It lists a few sites that are hosted on the same IP.
I see what you mean i have been looking for how to do this also... so that u check the ip and see what domains are coming from it...havent found anything thing yet though there is a way though have seen a stand alone script do it. and no you cant use $_server['remote_addr'] to do it herbacious
@Danltn is right. you can scrape MSN search to get reverse IP. I'm using this method in my web. see the result here (it's not very accurate anyway): reverse ip lookup
Yes, you can use MSN Search engine but I'm also wan't to know if there's another way... without using MSN... Tell us if you find the way
