Being a nosey person, I'm wondering how this person managed to script this website (medievalclothingstore.com) in generating over 3600 indexed google pages in 3 months? He has a medieval costume shop using ebay's editor kits but it can't be possible that he did all of those by hand! So how did he do that? Is his script fooling google because he has over 3600 pages index but only has like 50 pages indexed in yahoo. And he has a fake shopping cart too so what script is he using?
Can't comment on his indexing, other than to say Google is a lot quicker than the other SEs about crawling - it can take months and months to get Yahoo indexing your site. In fact I am finally seeing Yahoo traffic to rival Google traffic (though not really) after over a year and a half, with one site. The script seems almost certainly to be Associate-o-matic - the Amazon store script, which means it's not a fake cart per se, Amazon web services lets you create a pseudo cart and then check out through Amazon. I'm guessing he's dynamically changing the editor kit code so the keyword matches the current Amazon page - easy enough to do in PHP, so no work for him there. Remember though, the editor kit is JavaScript (I think so!| Don't use it myself, for that very reason), so he's not getting that content indexed.
They can use some high tech software, and he doesn't have to do this all by himself. He can hire a lot of people. Today, there are some talented programmer who want to work for less than 10 dollars an hour.
