Hi Looking for insight / opinion to reverse auctions / lowest unique bid wins auctions. I have seen alot of these and was wondering: If someone pays to enter into such an auction, usually via SMS, does this mean that the operator of the auction needs a gaming license (in the UK).
for example http://www.TheCheapestBid.com is a patented system that allows the lowest unique winner to get the product... the system is such that a Gaming License is not necessary... btw- they only have GAS Cards and Gift Cards that you can bid on...pretty cool!
