Hi Reverse Auctions were used in B2B procurement before dotcom bust like Freemarkets (which was bought by Ariba eventually). What about Reverse auctions targetted at consumers i.e. B2C. I read that one is Pricerunner.com which is a shopping comparison site. But Pricerunner allows consumer to monitor prices and be alerted when prices hit their price point only. It is not a true reverse auction as it does not allow consumers to set their prices and sellers to reduce prices in an auction environment. Does anyone know of any such B2C reverse auction marketplace? Are there any good afordable (or free) reverse auction software out there? Thanks
