[Note: yes, I'm aware that there is a website review section here on DP, but i feel that i will get better responses from people who use adsense.] Ok, I have been working on my website, YouPost.info, for the last month and a half and i would like to know what you guys think of the site/idea before i decide to officially release it in near the end of the month. Basically, it's a site where members can post their own blog articles directly on the website and vote for other posts. When enough members vote for the article it automatically gets pushed to the frontpage, a concept much like social news sites like digg except for blog posts. Users can optionally add an adsense ad anywhere into their post(there is a limit of one ad per post) which they can customize through their adsense account. Their ad will always remain in their post unchanged and is displayed to everyone when the post is viewed. So i would like to know what you guys think of this concept. Is it a good idea? does it have potential or will no one be willing to post on this site? Also for anyone thinking that it's against Adsense TOS, i dont think so because your ad will only be shown when people view your post, they are not displayed with everyone else's, except my own ad which will be in the sidebar or something(which is not against TOS, i emailed adsense and they said you can have two different publisher ids on the same page). BTW: Feel free to register and try the site out for yourself and let me know about any bugs or problems you run into, but dont start posting any serious articles yet, the site has not been released yet and i may decide to clear all posts when it becomes official! The idea is sound, but the actually problem you'll have will be with search engines. Many, no wait... MANY people will spam you site soloy to earn revenue and post content from other websites, which will be considered duplicate content in the search engines eyes, not also to forget the possible copyright violations that could happen. I would suggest going forward with your idea with "heavy" moderation and approval before any articles are shown, I would also use services like copyscape to see if the content is unique or not.
