    What is your view about a website which is in a revenue-sharing mode?

    Will you opt for such a site if it is just starting up?

    Cos I am thinking of starting a blog on a high paying keyword and planning to offer 50% adsense revenue share. So I wanna know if such sharing schemes work or not..

    Thanks:)

    It's good for attracting people, and it also makes people think that you are somewhat generous, but in the long run, I don't think its neccesary.

    Just another gimmick to get people to sign up. Doesn't hurt too much, just have to gauge what works for you and your site.

    The downside of revenue sharing is that only one person (or business) gets to count the revenue to share. Now, if you are Google, people may trust that you will do it honestly. However, if you are a small start up website, I would wonder about whether or not I will get the sharing that I am entitled to. Therefore, I am not sure how effective it would be as as promotional tool.

    @Sam 735
    Personally I don't believe in any niche being competitive. I know most high paying keywords have too much websites flocking. But good content with great marketing strategies any competition can be busted. Optimism is the driving force of success. risk taking is what separates a webmaster from a make-money-online-aspirant.

    @others
    Well, It will be tough to start up. But I will start with my own content to get some traffic and clicks. after that I may hire some writers to work on revenue-share so that I can concentrate on other start ups.

    I think revenue sharing is the way forward and I think it wil become even bigger in the next few years. Consumers have become wise to the fact that websites earn lots of money from them and they now want a piece of the action. I've written an article on Revenue Sharing entitled Make Money Online With Revenue Sharing Sites. It has a list of adsense based revenue sharing sites and more information about how it works
