I setup my profile with my adsense information, but I dont seem to have my ads showing up.

one thing I noticed in the faq's was that it wont show my ads when I am logged in, so I logged out, and I know I had people visiting threads I started but I still dont see anything showing up in the channels for google.

I have over 50 posts, and have been a member for over 7 days. Am I doing something wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong. But you need to wait for some time...
It depends on the threads you are posting and probability of showing your ads. Also, revenue sharing amount is not huge because there are so many users posting in the same thread...

I havn't got a click in 500 posts, so with 70 you can't expect to retire.

As a mod I can see what your pub id is, I viewed the source of this page, refreshed and viewed again. Out of a hugely scientific 2 loads I saw your pub id 1x. That's a 50% average and all that is promised.

Remember - it's only on the threads you start

Also, don't expect much out of 70+ posts. :D

Except it's not 70 posts, it's 4 single page threads.

Well you have to wait for sometimes when you have good posts and open good topics. Also we could not earn big amount from here because we have lots of Adsense user on DP.

So if you seen my 1 time, why doesnt it show up in adsense at all?

I'm not trying to retire or anything like that, I just want to make sure everything is setup correctly. If my ad should have showed even one time, then why doesnt adsense report it in the channel?

It does show up in the adsense ads when you view the page source!

Or are you trying to say why are you not getting anything in your adsense reports when you log in. Probably because the threads haven't had a huge amount of traffic.

    • revenue sharing not working - 2 days old - views: 75
    • Free way to get lots of links! (Multi-page thread 1 2) - 2 days old - views: 399
    • Using Custom Avatar - 8 days old - views: 56
    • please review my ad placement - 9 days old- views: 57

So, on these figures you have 587 views of the 4 threads you've started.

Given 50/50 chance of having your adsense id used you should have had about 293 impressions spread over the last 9 days. That's about 32 a day.

    Clicks, however, are another thing.

If you are still worried you could always post your stats for the channel you've used.

right, Im not worried about clicks right now, I just want to make sure I have it setup correctly.

your numbers make sense, so even with those numbers I should have at least one impression showing up in adsense, I must have something wrong, a number out of place or something, I think I copied and pasted it, but maybe I typed it and flipped a number or something, then of course that means when I double checked it I missed it too, but I will go check it again.

Ok, I figured it out, told you it was me :)

Somehow I put the channel from my referral instead of adsense for content. I didnt realize that the channels were different based on the product.

Anyways, I see impressions going in there now. Thanks everyone for all your help, and maybe this thread will help someone else :)
