I'm trying to create an AdSense revenue sharing forum like the Digital Point Forums. However, the catch is this forum is dedicated to a different niche (vending) and I expect most users will not have a website nor will have any experience with setting one up. Given this fact, most users won't already have an AdSense account and won't be eligible to apply for one. Does anyone know or have any ideas around this issue (even outside of using AdSense) to setup a revenue sharing forum?
It's completely useless if none of them have adsense. That's like saying I want people to drive my new car yet none of them have a license, is there a way to get around this? Well the only way to get around it is for them to get a license. In your case, it's for them to get adsense.
Encourage them to signup for a blogger account. Here is a step by-by-step guide http://www.cheatad.com/2006/04/18/quick-apply-google-adsense-account/
Not really. Revenue sharing isn't specific to adsense. Just need to find a way to distribute it evenly, like paypal or something.
Thanks for the responses. I've thought about doing revenue sharing via paypal but thought that might be too complicated for my purposes. For now, I think I will use Onera's suggestion and just tell new users they can just signup with blogger and do a few posts to get an AdSense account. It's a shame Google doesn't make this kind of process easier, they'd make a lot more money doing so. If I had the time, I'd take advantage of this weakness and compete with Google myself.
