If you really want to know how much you may receive, why don't you just work out the average that everybodies share may be on average per the amount of posts you do. I am a forum member and am rather active but I prefer to keep out of the revenue sharing program and a few others may also decided to do this plus there are many members that have less than 50 posts so will not earn a penny, plus digitalpoint is also probably earning money from Adsense on other parts of their site. But anyway, you may still be able to work out on average how much you may earn per post. I work it out that each member that has 50 or more posts is most likely to get an average of about $0.006911470968 per post written. How I worked this out is by taken $10,000 that digitalpoint claims that they earn from Adsense and I then use this amount. So 10,000/100 * 50 = 5,000 So all digital point posters are receiving 50% of their revenue I think this is right anyway. I don't take part so I could be wrong as I saw it as 50/50 cut. Once you have that figure you then need to divide it by the amount of posts in the forum. So 5,000/723,435 = 0.006911470968 Now depending on how many posts you write you may get that amount per post. So if you write 100 posts on average you may receive: 0.006911470968 * 100 = $0.691147096 So you are likely to get $0.69 per average for every 100 posts that you write. This is only an average and the figures are not 100% accurate as the posts are increasing all the time plus digitalpoint doesn't only earn from Adsense, etc. But it may give you a better idea of what you may earn. Also don't forget that some of them posts will not count so that revenue will just go straight to digitalpoint. This is because some members haven't reached 50 posts yets and some members don't even take part like me.
How many forums you can find to share the revenue ?FOr me I know DP only ! Basically your idea is good but I am just wondering how much time you need to spend for posting good quality articles on the forum to get that amount of $ .And at the same time other members on the forum they post their article ,too.
As for me, I join DP forum just for fun hopefully find something that is worth to ponder too .. I didnt join DP for revenue sharing (even honestly I like the whole revenue sharing ideas thing) Anyway, this is your point right? DP- Land of Freedom
Don't start a thread with a fake title "Revenue-sharing: > $5k per month?". What is wrong with you, idiot?
I just use it as there is alot of information about my best subject and that is affiliate marketing and websites. The revenue share program is something that I could take part in, but I would prefer not to take part in it. For adsense revenue sharing programs. There are quite a few on the Web. I can get a list of them quite easily. You have article revenue sharing programs, forum revenue sharing forums, etc. By the way, while searching I checked out an article revenue sharing program out and what I saw I was amazed. Infact it is a little odd. I guess they don't like making much money from Adsense or something. The reasons for this is because you submit and article and on the page that your article is displayed your adsense id gets put into the nicely top centered google ad and the other two ads on the page, one at the bottom and one on the right has the sites adsense id. Now I just looked to see if that was corrected so I went to the page and viewed the source. I saw both of his ideas and because the article author probably has not got adsense or something his id was not there. Infact the ad was still there but with no publisher id, which means the site is just displaying the ad that is likely to get the most clicks with no id in it so he won't get paid even though it gets click on. How odd is that!
As I know in on the net and from my own experience as webdesigner in 5 years there are not any better ways to earn money than working hard. Thats all! Work hard to get more contents to your website and sleep forever. Adsense will pay you.
I think I have made about 5 cents through DP revenue sharing. I dont post that much, but if I did some multiplying of my post average per day to bring it up to 200 posts then I probably would make about 50 cents per day. If you really want to do this then do it... but I personally think you are putting in more hard work then actually spending $8 and buying a domain to create your own content. However, I am sure any forum owner will welcome a few hundred key word rich articles in to their forum
You only make money if you start a topic though, yeah? Or do you get something for merely posting? At any rate I think it's much better to concentrate on your website(s) than to worry about forum posts. **Needs to go read up on that now**
OK, I've read up and I understand now. I also found it amusing that my above post was my 48th or 49th so it all kinda "dovetailed" together.
John, thanks for sharing that figure - IMO, if I were DP's owner, I'd consider that a mighty small amount. Anyway, as an update - I've already put aside the idea of earning from forum posts, thanks to the relatively dismal amounts seen in this thread so far
thats because google pay dismally (is taht a even a word?!) anyways you have to remember revenue DOES NOT climb linerally as you get more traffic, and then theres smart pricing and so on and so forth adsense profit = Very complicated equation which deserves a thread of its own anyways youll make more money from this forum by listening to good advice not spammin the forum with irrelevant posts
Insanely bad idea O.O Seriously even if you spent that amount of time writing exclusive articles for people at $5 a piece you'd earn more. Plus $1.40 was an exceptionally good day, on average you'd probably be lucky to get $0.30. I don't think anyone really goes to any great trouble to make money out of the revenue sharing. It's just nice feeling to get paid to talk on the best forum on the net even if it's just $0.10.
Basically I think everyone agrees that we make more money by spending the time building quality websites with quality content. I did toy with the idea of adsense revenue sharing in www.sg-web-design.com but the site is still too young to draw any conclusion. I believe there must be other similar sites around, ...I'm not sure. But so far, writers seem willing to come back and post articles, knowing that in the long run, it'll lead to some dollars. Let's wait and see where it goes...
They don't pay dismally. Google Adsense is one of the highest CPC programs online and with Google Adsense you know that you will get paid for all your work than what you would with 3rd tier ppc search engines that don't even bother paying their honest affiliates. As longs as you don't cheat Adsense, you know you can earn a good amount of cash.
If you set up a blog with adsense and made 100 quality posts a day you would earn alot more than posting on forums.
Here's a nice list of revenue sharing sites: http://www.admoolah.com/blog/index.php/adsense-revenue-sharing-sites/ Tim www.Review-Script.com
