Heck, since I took an early buyout, the internet is my salary.

It hasn't quite reached what I used to get paid, but then again I don't have to get dressed up for work, or spend gas money and time going in every day. And I get to spend all day at home with my kids, which is great.

And it's steadily growing, as I add new websites and new content to the ones I have and better monetize things.

I'm excited at cracking the $100 a month Adsense barrier, now need to get it up to a $1000 a month to pay the mortgage.

Then $2000 a month to pay other bills. Anything I start getting after that then I can afford to send the kids to private schools instead of homeschooling, which will give me even more time to increase the earnings.

Keep working at it and adding content, $2 a day is where I was last month, now I have it up to $3-$4 daily. Next month or month after next should get it up to over $10 daily.

Don't get discouraged when you see people making lots of money, because it is not something that just all of a sudden starts shooting off money, but instead grows gradually.

The part you can control is how much relevant content you can have for the adsense money to grow off of, and how much relevant traffic you can drive to your site.

I am making more than my day job, too.

However, I am a stay at home mom so my day job pays me zero, therefore, I make more with adsense. Unfortunately, not much more, though. :D

Forgive me, I thought you run Isnare. You are probably just promoting them in your signature.

Hey, I'm a stay at home dad, and the revenue I earn in terms of helping my kids learn and spending time with them is priceless.

Heck in my real job by the time I paid daycare my salary was pretty much gone and I only saw my kids a couple hours or so a night, now I pay nothing for daycare, spend time with the kids and can earn money online, which is great!

yeah, I only promote isnare in my sig so I can get free distribution credits. I don't promote any of my real projects on DP, because I don't want anyone to know about them since they are always very niche, and usually easy to go after.

I couldn't agree more! I was kind of joking about getting paid zero since I don't think you can put a price tag on what we do. :)

    Great stories and very inspirational.

To add to that I think you lot should lay off 'execute' because even Christ had a doubting Thomas so who is anyone else to be doubted without concrete information.

I believe I get .3 cents or less with every click on my site. I have a long way to go before I can quit my job.
