I recently acquired a popular site with lots of daily visitors. I immediately looked at the site and started changing things because I thought the user experience was not very good. In fact, there was no easy menu at the top of the page to allow users to visit other areas of the website. I installed a decent menu. I removed some clutter and started watching my Adsense. Indeed, the adsense was much lower. I returned the page back to its original form and Adsense increased to its prior level. It seems that having Link Units was allowing those that were intent on leaving the site to select those options. The menu is now at the bottom of the page. Revenue is stable. boxcar
Sometimes what you say here is true. Another scenario is try not to create contents that tells everything. That way visitors are more likely to click on ads in order to search further.
What exactly u meant here....having link units..is it adsense link units..so how did visistors intended to it...please tell more about this para u said!
Link units if used properly can add to earnings but I found they can also reduce earnings. If you put link units in too prominent an area, some users that would click on ads will clink the link units. Link units appear to pay less. boxcar
