Revenue by format with Adsense

    Hello,

    I'm glad I found this forum! Many interesting posts here. :D

    I'm new with Adsense.

    I would like to know the ranking of profitability per click is the same for you:

    1 Google Search (the best profitability per click for me)

    2 Link Unit, Menubar (x5)

    3 Ad unit, Skyscraper

    I'm quite surprised by my ranking. I would have thought that Google Search and Link units, because they are less targeted, would generate less cash than Ad units (Skycrapers).

    Do you have the same ranking or does this ranking strongly depend on the website?

    Skycrapers generally seem to earn less than other formats. In most cases the Large Rectangle is the best paying format, but depending on placement and your visitors search and link units can still do better.

    I would think that different ones work differently for different sites. It really depends on how well you can implement them into your site so that they look apart of your site.

    I followed your advice regarding the Large Rectangle:
    it's indeed the best paying format ! :D

    Before my revenue was at about 450 dollars per month.

    But since I implemented the Large rectangle, I'm at 570 dollars per month !
    (this increase is only due to the new format as all other variables of my website are the same)
