    I would beg to differ, I don't think it is appropriate to quote Vanity Fair as a source. IMHO it is not an authoritative news provider to be able to leak such plans which would easily be top secret.

    Organizing and sponsoring a coup is newsworthy.

    Interventionism again. You arm the people who could potentially or do use the weapons against Israel, then you arm and support Israel.

    Meanwhile, civilians on both sides die.

    And people wonder why we have a bad rep internationally...

    The US is supporting Fatah because they don't want Hamas (which is considered a terrorist organization in the US) to have more control. Also it seems that there are better chances of a peace deal with Fatah than Hamas.

    From their actions, Hamas seem to be the idiots for actually acting like terrorists most of the times.

    Please remind me why we are trying to manipulate the democratic process of some other country half way around the world..??? With violence, at that.

    Really, we need to mind our own business. I'm getting sick of our foreign policy, if you can even call it that still.
