Revalidation failed, ads not removed

    http://www.culturedtravel.com/ recently failed a revalidation but the ads are there - I see them myself. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

    Does Google have any old dead pages in their index? That frequently is one problem source?

    Looks like it's validated fine to me. Did you actually try to revalidate it, or?

    It is validated now, but I never requested a revalidation. Interesting.

    It is automatically done every three days to ensure the ads are still there.

    But I failed validation around 24 hours ago and never tried to revalidate. Now I ahve two mysteries. Why I failed in the first place and why I validated now...
