If I was the buyer, I would add a zero to the price and resell it.

I did some figures such as what other generic domains sold for and traffic and so on and figured that it is worth somewhere in the ballpark range of 600k-750k. I am sure they will make there money back on this easily.

Well more and more people are going on the Internet, and starting up their own businesses.

Remember the DOT COM BUST? That period from 1997 when so many people bought dot.com domains and then they failed badly later on when they tried to open their online businesses.

I have noticed, however a lot of key findings.

    1) Domain names with the .com extension still remain the most "powerful" ones.

    2) .CO.UK domain names are always trusted if you operate in the UK - UK people are more likely to buy from you if you own this extension.

    3) .net extension still remains a key player

    4) One word domain names are profitable but some can fall in value, UNLESS you have an established website.

    5) Celebrity domain names with a lot of status are most likely going to be taken over as they have lots of legal issues if you own one.

Domain names won't fall in value I know many large companies and venture capitalist who have spent a lot of dough hiring people to write business plans on domains they would like to buy and are planning to buy up many in the next couple of years as more and more people go to the internet to buy just about everything possible. I don't see a dot com bust coming because back then there just were not as many people who were experienced with PC's or willing to buy stuff online as many people were scared to back then and now everyone does. I only see these domains actually getting hirer in price as ALOT of business moves to the internet as it becomes almost like buying storefronts in busy areas
