My site is called We Swap Books (http://www.weswapbooks.com). If I search these words (we swap books) on google, my site is the top result. But for some reason it is not the home page it displays, but the main page for my marketing section. Here is the search http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=we+swap+books&btnG=Google+Search&meta= If you look at how the result beneath mine is displayed (read it swap it), that's how I'd like it displayed. The home page as the main result and any other relevant results beneath it... Is this something I can fix my end or something I have to ask Google to change? Also any general SEO tips are appreciated, thanks.
When I use google with this google.com/search?q=we+swap+books&rls=com.microsoft:nl:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7GZAZ I get your website as #1 result, and it shows the correct page after clicking... not the about us part. I don't know why, but maybe it helps to know that some people will actually see the correct page, while you don't.
