I have the simple search Perl script from NMS. I am trying to get it to display a count of results it finds on the results page. I defined a variable $The_Count and set it to 0 at the beginning of the script. It accepts is because it displays 0 on the results page. I'm not sure if I am doing it right but I've tried several different ways to get it to count,and put it in several different places, all of which either return an application error, or just does not count, and the results remain 0. I put in a request for assistance to NMS about three or four weeks ago, and never head anything, so I'm hoping someone here is familiar with this script, or who can help me figure out where to put it, and the exact syntax to make it count. I can copy and paste sections of the script if need be. thanks. Jim.
