Resubmit sitemap after changing my site?

I have created a sitemap and submitted the sitemap a couple of weeks ago. After adding more pages to my site, do I need to create and submit a new sitemap? What makes sense, submit a new one every month?

I think you only need to upload the new sitemap to your site once there are changes.

You dont have to resubmit your sitemap monthly, resubmit it when you have a big updates or lots of additional pages on your site. but actually, IMO, you dont have to resubmit your sitemap... google can still find your site, just continue to get links, quality one (links) is the best option.

Thanks for the answers. I will upload a new sitemap because I added new pages to my site.

resubmit your sitemap to be indexed immediately though IMO even you didn't resubmit it as long as you improve your link popularity it'll be indexed soon...

or you could update your sitemap.xml and add your new page instead of creating new one
