    Hello,

My site has been live now for 3 months. It is in the signature. I have seen a decrease in traffic and i know there could be hundreds of reasons why but would it be good to resubmit my site to google and yahoo Searh engines?

also a quick side questions, if I were to use a picture from googe image and use it on my site with the <img> tags but have no <a> tag for images. Would i be still giving a backlink to the page I got the image from even if there is no link?

    Thanks

Surely Google and other SE already found you, you don't need to resubmit them. Maybe an updated sitemap if you have new pages on your site. You just need them to build quality backlinks.

you don't have to resubmit your site.. continues link building can help..

and about the image link, as long as the link is crawlable then it can count as backlink..

what you mean crawlable? the only way a link is crawlable if it actualy contains a link to get out of my site from. this image doesnt contain a link. Im just using someone elses image on there domain. Or does that mean I am linking to them?

OK i have a more important matter in hand. My google webmaster is having issues. I submitted my Atom xml sitemap for my blogger blog. I did this many months back. I have 89 posts but it only says 53 got indexed. I resubmitted it but with different parameters. Still it says 89 links and 53 indexed. the 30 that havent been indexed I beleive is my problem and that is why I am not showing up in google.

This is how I added my sitemap:

    http://voipcallsforfreeworldwide.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=100

and my second attempt to add another on yesterday:

    http://voipcallsforfreeworldwide.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

I had to do it this way because I use feedburner and atom.xml doesnt exist after doing it like that. Please please i really need to get this fixed as I feel like my blog is dying slowly.

    Thanks

XML sitemap will only help in indexing but for more traffic, you need to get more backlinks for your site.

    Backlinks means more link popularity.

Make sure you're not HOT LINKING - using their bandwidth to place the image on your site.

You could also run into copyright infringements with a fine of $100,000. Be sure to get approval from the website owner before using (stealing) content.

BTW: there's only a small advantage when using images for SEO. Be sure you utilize the alt tag.

no, if there is no need to be worried. If the image doesn't link to GI you are not giving backlink to it.
