I post this message here because i'm interested about this issue from the Google SERPs perspective.

I bought a keyword domain under .co.hu which is a paid domain released by NIC.HU together with .hu and few other .hu subdomains. I was very happy at the beginning but after i saw i have problems to rank internationally, Google.com for example. My site is in english, have some backlinks but doesn't help, i don't even rank for that keyword, my question :

.co.hu is restricted only to Hungary by Google ? or the Registry, NIC.HU ?

If by Google, why .co.hu is harder to rank than co.cc, a free domain or any other subdomain ?

Should domains be restricted only to a country when the internet is something so global ? why the domain names are not equal internationally ?

Google will automatically associate your Domain with it's geographic region in this case Hungary. This doesn't exclude the possibility of you appearing in other SERPS for other countries but it is less likely or other nations can filter it out easily. Stick with .com, or .edu for best results
