Hi Recently I read a brief tutorial by someone in a forum on the subject of backing up and restoring databases for forums. I'm in the process of switching to a new theme from my current forum and so decided to try what I had read. I went to phpMyAdmin in the Cpanel to the 'Export' section and when I had finished checking what was needed I was about to push the Go button. But next to the button was a light bulb icon and when I hovered over it stated the following: "The SQL compatibility mode functionality is affected by a known bug, see http://bugs.mysql.com/14515". Below this was a highlighted area giving a bit more of an explanation: "This value is interpreted using 'strftime', so you can use time formatting strings. Additionally, the following transformations will happen:_SERVER_/server name,_DB_/database name. Other text will be kept as is." Well, needless to say both the above and the bugs link were as elusive as ufos to me. Perhaps someone here who is "versed in all things MySql" can clue me in to what's going on. Basically, is the second explanation urgent or is it something I shouldn't worry about? Also, is this something that the hosting company's support should handle? Thanks
