Restoring a Database in Cpanel

When you restore a database in cpanel do you just upload it over an existing or should you delete the old one? (Note: The directory I'm restoring is already on the server; I'm just trying to put on a newer version)

I'm trying to do it but it keeps hanging. The database isn't that large but it's big enough.

When I try and restore the DB just by uploading the backup file of one of the current DB's I get garbage like this:

\r\nTim'),(17441,1203092936,1,1,0,'If I insert a graphic in a post in Wordpress I have various alignment choices (top, right, left etc). My problem is with the left and right alignment settings.
    \r\n
\r\nWhen I set these they work as expected but I get a margin problem - there is no gap between image and text. I know this has to be changed in the CSS but I just cannot figure out what class needs to be changed.

\r\nCan someone please point me in the right direction?

    Finally I get this ERROR:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. stop script / continue

Any thoughts? All feedback is appreciated as the sooner I complete the migration the better!

Usually, I am not just copying files over. Export database in the old place, then import in the new place. If you have ssh, you can easily do it by mysql/mysqldump. If you don't have it, you can ask your host. I believe they can do for you for free

Thanks; I do have SSH. I'll look into that now.

Any other suggestions / have you seen that error before?
