    Hi
I got a backup from the site and saved it in the home directory of the site (didn't download it)
Now if I want to restore the site to when I backed up the site, do I have to download the taken backup first and then upload it? ( what a pain) or i can use cpanel to restore the site without download and upload( if so please let me know how)
    thanks

    Is this a full backup?

If so, then only your host can restore it for you

Download it. You cannot restore the backup so easily. It takes hours if you're on DSL. Backups are generally, 30+ MB and it takes about 5 hours to upload that much!!

Give it to your webhost, and they'll restore the backup:)
