Restarting Website - Deleting All Content - Using Same Domain - Should I 301?

So here's the deal - I jumped into affiliate marketing and created a half dozen low quality websites that I would like to restart by deleting all the old content and using a new CMS. The content that is already indexed on these websites is poor quality that I don't want reflecting on the new websites, which will be using the same domain name.

I'm not sure how I should go about this without getting penalized by the Googly monster. Should I delete the original website and start over or leave the old content and use a 301 redirect to the new content (which will be entirely different but at the same domain name and quite possibly the same file address)?

I don't have an established PR or backlinks to the site so I would lose nothing there I'm just not sure if Google will not like either of these solutions and send me straight to the sandbox if they even consider indexing the new content.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

With no established PR or Backlinks using 301s would be a bit pointless.

Updating your domains with new content should be a bonus as search engines like fresh content.

If your new CMS uses a different URL naming structure, you could remove the existing sub category URLs using the Google remove tool, available in the Google webmaster tools.
