    Very sad. Great guy. A true American hero for sure. Guess some people have a different idea of what it means to be a hero.

    RIP Chris! I am from India and I have not heard about him. But from the initial posts in this thread ,I could understand how much he meant to a nation. Respect!!

    On February 2, 2013, Kyle was shot and killed at the Rough Creek shooting range by 25-year-old fellow veteran Eddie Ray Routh. Kyle was helping Eddie Routh with his PTSD.

    Yet another failure of Obama's highly touted PTSD plan.

    The silence from the Obama administration speaks volumes.
