Now is Responsive web design era, what is Responsive web design? Responsive web design (RWD) is a web design approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones) (source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design). Today, you can test any site, its Responsive Design or Not? with easy. You dont need any kind devices. That you need is only "type the url and hit enter" to test your own site You can find this at Responsive Design Testing site (http://mattkersley.com/responsive/). Nice to share this. Thanks
Shame that tool obeys the host system metric, makes the smaller sizes broken even though they wouldn't be on real devices. But then I just test in FF resizing the window using the web developer toolbar -- since it ignores the system metric.
yeah, I test in FF using the responsive view: tools > web developer > responsive design view I also use one of the user agent changer addons (there are loads)
Here is an another interesting "Responsive Web Design" Testing tool from Ndot Technologies http://www.ndottech.com/responsive-tool. Kindly have a test on it just by entering your website in the area "Test your own site"
Yes the FF "web developer" options are awesome. I usually keep FF aside while developing. After testing all the standard sizes in ff I send it for testing on real devices....
