Oct 17 2006 18:08 PT Hello XXXXX, I apololgize for the confusion. The decrease in revenue is not a bug. As we are still in our beta period, we are continually making adjustments to the Publisher Network that could result in small increases or decreases to your revenue. We don?t anticipate that a single publisher will experience a significant decrease in revenue as a result of these changes. Of course, our long-term goal is to increase revenue for all of our publishers. Additionally, we have recently introduced some new matching engines, which include multiple relevance factors that influence the way our Content Match system selects listings to display. Again, we don?t anticipate that a single publisher will experience a significant increase or decrease in revenue as a result of these changes. Sincerely, Nick XXXXX Yahoo! Publsiher Network Team
true. everyone is affected, not single publisher. everyone having different account and different site to display ads. like this month, i am doing my best in last 11 months. someone might make that good money next month!! not lot of people got boost this month but i am the one from limited group i guess. I think, all you can do is do some work, try your best to get "GooD" ads on site..and wait for money. Thanks.
I'm actually in the same boat as you try. I've already beaten any record that I have currently set with Yahoo this month. - Compu
Starting now, most ad systems should show better performance. Christmas shopping is beginning and advertisers are gearing up.
I'm wondering if he was using it like: Not a single publisher was harmed in the making of this film. Now read the sentance: "we don?t anticipate that a single publisher will experience a significant increase or decrease in revenue as a result of these changes." Making it seem like no-one (not a single publisher) will lose a significant amount of revenue due to these changes. I don't know.. lol still gray and fuzzy to me.. rpc is back up today though.. after a 83% percent drop which is goooooood
