I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this but as webmasters how often do you respond to advertisements on other sites (i.e., not your own site)? Do you have the urge to right click on the ad, get the url and directly enter it in the address bar?

I don't have an urge to right click on any ad or get the URL.
If I see a banner or text ad that I am interested, I simply click on it. It's as simple as that.

there was time when I was searching for web hosting and whenever I saw a good ads(like hostgator's promotions) I clicked it to see if it was of my use. Once I almost clicked on my own ads :D, thank god i didn't. Anyway I don't do that copy link, paste in url bar etc kind of nonsensense.

It seems it is not "nonsense" since quite a few webmasters seem to not want to click on ads (especially CPC ads). May be this is because we know that someone needs to pay for the click? Or may be as jacksmith says we run the risk of clicking on our own adsense ads?
