    Hi -

Would appreciate any and all apprisals of this site:

Name of the Domain: http://www.800tip.com (click on 'Show Navigation Pane' to see the search...)

Registration Date: 3/21/2001 , but just built the site
What I use the domain for: free compendium of moneymaking &
    moneysaving tips, articles, and books.
what the niche be used for: already built, but it could be any large
    knowledgebase

    The website itself: http://www.800tip.com

Subject of the Website: Free ideas for making or saving money
Traffic Details: just built, not quite finished or promoted yet
Income From the website: none yet
    Pages Indexed in Search
    Engines: none, yet. brand new.

the content either I wrote or I purchased the rights to. I'm thinking of moving it a WIKI to allow the world to edit it. Its 700+ pages and growing. Some topics are dated, and need editing. Images are next.

    thanks so much!

Domain Value: Low $xxx to (maybe) mid $xxx
Why: Year 2001 registration! It is a very old domain name and I am sure it will fetch you at least low $xxx. You have a website as well so thats why!
Development Idea: Keep increasing your knowledge base in the website, make a forum, allow user interaction, have them exchange their thoughts as well. Also, try incorporating the "800" somewhere, maybe 800 tips to make your money grow!
Selling advice: If you want to sell this domain, always tell that it is a very old domain registered in 2001, because that increases the price by a big margin. Sell the domain on Webmaster Forums, Afternic.com or eBay, Sedo is also a good option but Sedo doesn't allow you to add your stuff like when was the domain registered, so... oh well, wherever you get the best offer sell it. But nothing less than $200.

    Cool, thanks IT-

Never thought of it as an old domain. I'll take your suggestions to heart.

I'll provide for some interaction, add a forum, work on blending, and the '800' text. I'll probably keep it.

    thanks again!

You are most welcome Roger N! Old domains value more because Search Engines consider them more reliable and therefore it helps in Pagerank giving and (maybe) in SEO as well.
