Resolving symbol R in android studio.

    I feel like giving up but just can't. I tried for a whole day to resolve this issue but unable to resolve.

    basically after I load the script into the java folder, the "R" in R.id gets highlighted in red. So how do I remove it? I have done:

    -Cleaning
    -rebuilding
    -Restarting the program
    -Import <package>.R
    -Syncing Project

    Now I'm getting sick.

    can someone shed some light? or at least where I can get help?
